Where we're headed

The roadmap

We build lean and in the open. We ship in small, useful steps, and what comes next is shaped by what the community actually uses and what partners can fund. No promises on dates, just an honest order.

We're testing as we go, so you might hit the odd rough edge. Thanks for bearing with us while we smooth things out. Spot something? Report it.

  1. Join & the board

    Live

The core of the community. Set up a profile and use the discussion board to post what you're building or what you need, and anyone can reply. Browse it all without an account; sign in to take part.

    • Sign in with Microsoft, Google, or an email code
    • Founder and builder profiles, with disciplines and your own external links
    • Discussion board: post requirements, reply, browse by topic
    • Browse the board and members without signing in
    • Public or members-only visibility on every post and profile
    • Connect off-platform, via people's own links
  2. Connections

    Live

Connect with people on the platform, with a short intro note: a warm handshake instead of a cold link.

    • Send a connect request with a short intro note
    • Accept or decline requests, and remove a connection any time
    • An email when a request arrives or gets accepted, so nothing goes stale
    • Share your email with your connections if you want to, off by a single switch
    • Still your call how you take the conversation forward
  3. Go live

    Live

The doors are open. Running on real accounts and real data backed by our own API, with the controls to keep it safe and private.

    • Real accounts and profiles backed by our own API
    • Account management: edit your profile or delete your account any time
    • Privacy controls in line with the NZ Privacy Act 2020
    • Automated content moderation on posts, replies, and profiles
  4. Messaging

    Later

In-app messaging between members. The biggest piece. We'll only build it when there's real demand and the funding to run and moderate it well.

    • Direct messages between connected members
    • Notifications so conversations don't go stale
    • Reporting and safety tools to keep it healthy

It's kept free by its partners. Backing it keeps it open to everyone and helps move the next thing up the list.
